The Crown Prince Couple attends events in connection with 2021 Flag Day
The Citadel, Holmen's Church and Christiansborg Palace Square, Copenhagen
The purpose of Flag Day is to honour individuals who are or have been sent on a mission by Denmark on the basis of a decision by the government
and includes personnel from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Armed Forces, Rescue Preparedness, Police and Health Services.

Each year, the Carlsberg Foundation awards two research prizes to a natural science and a humanities/social science researcher, who have contributed with crucial basic research results.
The prize includes 250,000 Dkk in a personal honour and 750,000 Dkk in support of a research project.
