More tidbits in the absence of photos:

Cheeky Monkey Brewery, Margaret River, also had a visit, posted today but no date mentioned:

"Royal Brewery. We were graced with the presence of Mary, Crown princess of Denmark and her family.

She and her friends enjoyed a quiet lunch whilst the kids had fun on the playground.

What a beautiful, dignified lady she is."

Very polite people in the area. No photos posted anywhere.

Perthnow is asking for sightings:

"Yesterday they were spotted at the Maritime Museum in Fremantle. The couple enjoyed chatting to the staff and photographing the exhibits!"

Looks like the Mary-haters have found their way to the comments section...:

I guess they are counting on someone believing the stuff they write.

Danish Prince Christian rescued from dangerous rip on Gold Coast beach

Added: This seems to have happened last Thursday and the press suddenly know about it today...

Maybe it in reality wasn't that dramatic. But, you know, things can grow over a few days:-) The guy in the interview probably also saw a good opportunity for some good PR for the lifeguards. Anyway good that he is alright:-)

Royal Family: Prince Christian was never in danger

The Lifeguard just checked up if the prince to see if he was ok, says the Royal House on the rescue.

Copenhagen: It was a completely undramatic situation when Prince Christian last week, according to Australian media were rescued by a lifeguard during the royal Christmas holiday in Tasmania.

It tells of Communications at the Royal Family, Lene Balleby, Sunday.

- Prince Christian was never in danger. Lifeguards must always pay attention, and in this case they knew who was in the water and was perhaps particularly attentive. They took therefore an additional check on whether Prince Christian was ok, which he was.

- The situation was in other words, quite undramatic, says communications director Ritzau.

Australian media reported Sunday about how the 10-year-old prince had come out of a dangerous power when he was out to bathe Thursday. An Australian lifeguard named Nick Malcolm came therefore the young prince to the rescue.

It was, according to media 7 News not certain that Prince Christian had been alive today if not the lifeguard had been smart in and had come prince to the rescue of paddling up to him on his surfboard.

- We managed to catch him before it was too serious, but he could not even get back, Stuart Keary that Nick Malcolm's boss, told the media 7 News.

But it is exaggeration, according to the Royal House.

7 News also provides that the lifeguards did not know that it was a Danish prince who was out swimming. But it is not true according to the Royal House.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are on Christmas holidays in Tasmania. The incident happened when the couple along with their four children were out swimming at the beach Mermaid Beach near the town of Gold Coast, located on the east coast of Australia.

The family in years, has decided to celebrate Christmas in Tasmania. The couple and their four children tend usually to spend Christmas Eve with the children's grandparents, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik.

I thought the court might respond to this.

Maybe that is why the lifeguard, that was supposed to have rescued Christian has kept a low profile and hasn't been interviewed and "He’s kept it pretty quiet" to his fellow life guards. There probably really wasn't much out of the ordinary to go around bragging about:-) The life guard chef also, to me, has a little bit the attitude of the hobby angler retelling the story how big a Cod he once caught when out fishing:-)

Anyway, even though the story probably was exaggerated and not entirely true, I'm not sure how good an idea it was to respond. The lifeguards are probably an institution, where you will be many many points behind already from the start, if you go into a discussion on, what and what not happened. Maybe they should just have let this one go and let them keep this.

Stupid comments. CPM has learned to speak Danish, definitely. She can do the Danish r and soft d, she can do the extended characters, she knows when a g is soft or silent and she knows how to pronounce juletid (as in yuletide).

The only two issues that I've noticed is still ongoing is how she emphasizes syllables, for example in the word international. She still pronounces it the English way. The other issue is how she ends certain words.

But then again, who cares? She's doing brilliantly!

Well, it looks like we finally got some paparazzi pictures:-) The quality of the pictures very blurry and washed out, so they are probably taken from long distance. The pictures were apparently taken Friday

The Danish royals were reportedly swimming between the flags. (That is, complying with parameters set for the day)

Crown Prince Frederik personally thanked the lifeguard for his alertness.

So as you say, there was no drama. The lifeguards would intervene well before there is a problem just to be on the safe side. It's just the press reaching for juicy headlines.

Australian lifeguard called prince-rescuing undramatic

The lifeguard on Thursday helped Prince Christian, calling its action a routine action, writes local media.

It was without bigger drama and danger, when Crown Prince Frederik's 10-year-old son, Prince Christian, Thursday was rescued by an Australian lifeguard. That tells the head of the lifeguard who picked Prince Christian from the waves, to the Australian media 7 News.

The Australian media has been described as that Prince Christian was in mortal danger, but according to the Royal Family, and now the lifeguard, who was responsible for the action, not the case.

- It was a very simple, short trip for him. He felt fine and his parents thanked the lifeguard when they left the beach. It was very undramatic, said the head of the Gold Coasts lifeguards, Warren Young, and continues:

- It is something we do all the time. That's our job. But this time it was foreigners and of course quite famous foreigners.

According to Warren Young was the lifeguard Nick Malcolm unaware that it was a Danish prince, he had saved until after the action.

Nick Malcolm has not yet spoken, but lets Warren Young do it.

- His phone has not stopped ringing. He is a lifeguard, and he is good at saving people. He is not accustomed to that kind of attention, because he just does his job every day, says Warren Young.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are on Christmas holidays in Tasmania. The incident happened when the couple along with their four children were out at the beach Mermaid Beach near the town of Gold Coast, located on the east coast of Australia.

Here was Prince Christian caught by a stream, and was retrieved by a lifeguard on a surfboard.

Prince Christian is second in line of succession to the Danish throne after her father Crown Prince Frederik.

The 10-year-old prince is beyond future king of Denmark, according to Warren Young "a good little swimmer", that not panicked.
