gudinde
It's unusual that there is no mention of the arrival, greeting and inspecting of the guard at the airport, with the entire royal family present. I wonder if there is a deviation from the usual format, or if it is just not mentioned on the published schedule?
mls
Perhaps the couple arrived in Denmark a day or two before the official programme starts?
gudinde
Thanks mls. So you were right.
abbie
Is this the first time there has been no welcome at the airport for such a visit?
gudinde
Hmm, good question abbie. I'm wondering where to search for that info.
abbie
Thanks for your reply gudinde. I'm not sure where to look either. I now seem to recall there being one other visit without the airport welcome maybe in the first few years after Frederik any Mary married. The threads we have for the State Visits could be checked and the official schedules for each visit.
