Thanks mls. Yes, a new dark blue gown for Mary with a scooped neckline and three-quarter length sleeves - or is it a remake of an older court dress?

It seems to sit much more nicely than the dark blue court dress from previous years.

Looking at the larger image in mls's post it's difficult to see whether the neck detail is a piece of jewellery or part of the dress Mary wears. Any thoughts?

Love that Mary is wearing a new gown, although you sometimes are unable to appreciate the design details in such a dark color. I do notice that the skirt has some interesting detail with a slit half-way around the front. I also think that the detail around her neck is a new piece of jewelry rather than a design element in the dress. Take a look at one of the photos in the ppe gallery ... notice that you can see some fabric at the collar which wouldn't happen if it was a design element sewn into the dress.

:) What is the country represented by that wonderful highly coloured national dress?

And look at his shoes! Maybe PH will get new ideas....

Peru, perhaps? Or some other country from South America?
