Kronprinsessen deltager som protektor i den officielle åbning af Forskningens Døgn og overrækker Forskningskommunikationsprisen 2016

HRH The Crown Princess, as a patron, participates in the official opening of the Festival of Research and presents the Research Communication Award 2016.

Research Day is a national science festival, which since 2005 has been held annually in April with around 65,000 participants. The festival consists of a series of local events across the country, where science is communicated through example. lectures, exhibitions, debates, research events, and open house events. The organizers are from the universities, research institutions, municipalities, libraries, businesses and hospitals that are either conducting research or would like to highlight a topic of research.

On the podium in the main hall at at the Zoological Museum, with a 17-meter long dinosaur skeleton, Crown Princess spoke about professor and psychologist Barbara Hoff Esbjørn, who received the Research Communication Award for her its work with anxiety disorders in children.
