The Royal Awards for Sustainability is established to recognise excellence and promote best practise within sustainable development. It is an independent organisation initiated by the European Environment Agency, in Copenhagen, The Copenhagen based waste-management company R98, the City of Copenhagen and Scandinavian airline company SAS.
