Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik - Part 9

Recommended Posts

Text from PPE Agency: 12-03-2011 Kaw Prince Henrik swimming in the Kaw River because of the heat - alligators and crocodiles live in the river but the Prince accompanied by a security guard was not attacked during the five minute swim. Prince Henrik is visiting French Guiana in South America as the president of the Danish WWF.

Brave man. I wouldn't swim with crocodiles even if I was paid a million dollars to so. The jaws of those animals are huge!

Maybe even crocodiles watches their weight and goes for low-fat meat:-) Anyway the caption saying that "the Prince accompanied by a security guard" is seriously funny:-)

This is extraordinary news. I feel so proud of Queen Margrethe - and I'm not even Danish..

Ifølge Forsvaret blev regenten opfordret til at besøge Afghanistan af sin søn kronprins Frederik, der selv tidligere har besøgt de danske soldater.

- According to the Defense Force it was Crown Prince Frederik who encouraged his mother to visit the Danish soldiers in Afghanistan.

Wow, that's extraordinary! I'm really proud too, Gudinde. Bravo Queen Margrethe!:bowdown::bowdown:

That must have been an amazing morale boost for the troops. :SmilieHappy:

I'm so proud of the Queen. I am sure it was a terrific morale booster for the Danish troops. To me, the visit simply says, 'On behalf of myself, my family, the government and people of Denmark, you are in our thoughts and prayers for God to keep you safe as you do everything in your power to keep us safe from the scourge of terrorism. Thank you, we are eternally grateful.

I have a question - How long was the visit? A day or two?

Thank you for posting the links to speech and more pictures. Indeed a Queen to be proud of, but let's not forget the female defence minister, who is also not to be sneezed at! There cannot be many countries that have one and just think how scarce wars would probably be if there were more of her ilk!:hatoff::beer2:
