Thanks mls.

So I wonder, is this the last of the organisations to be handed back to the royal family for which Countess Alexandra was patron?

Taking responsibility for the choir patronage for just a 5 year period is a good idea. It's well known that the Crown Princess is already heavily commited with her patronages and the Mary Foundation. At the end of the 5 years the Crown Princely Couple's older children will be of an age where they may start taking on patronages.

No, it isn't. Countess Alexandra was patron of the choir from 1995 to 2014. Since then she also ended her patronage for UNICEF. And I think it's very likely that CP Mary will take over that one too in a couple of years perhaps (she already had an event with UNICEF last year). UNICEF used to be under the patronage of Queen Ingrid, then Queen Margrethe who gave it to Princess Alexandra. But traditionally it was under the patronage of the Queen (Consort).
