Additions to F&M's calendar for 2015

Recommended Posts

Queen Margrethe celebrates her 75th birthday in April. I guess it's possible this will be celebrated in grand style as with other significant milestones.

The new Premier and Minister for Domestic Affairs of Greenland, Kim Kielsen,

to attend an audience with Queen Margrethe at Amalienborg - Friday the 9th.

After the audience, he makes a courtesy visit to Crown Prince Frederik.

And this is (as usual, I'm tempted to say) not on the official calendar.... :sigh:

I can't remember the last time there were no immediate upcoming events for Crown Princess Mary on the royal calendar.

BB has a little piece online about upcoming events

http://www.billedbla...oraarsplaner-ud

Their suggestions may be educated guesses.

They suggest a winter holiday in Verbier in week 7. February 9th to 15th is school winter break.

In March, according to BB, Mary is likely to be in New York for important meetings in connection with the International Women's Forum of the United Nations headquarters.

Crown Prince Frederik is apparently preparing to compete again in Sweden's 90km cross-country ski marathon 'Vasaloppet' on Sunday 8th of March.

Then comes the State Visit to Denmark of the new king and queen of the Netherlands, as mls already posted..

13 January: Past unofficial visit for CP Frederik. Not on his official calendar..... :frazzled:

He visited Søværnets Officersskole (Naval Academy?) and ship simulator.

The informal visit had been arranged at his own request.

According to BB among others 10 of CP Mary's dresses will be exhibited at Brandts in Odense during the exhibition "Danish Fashion Now", opening on 27 March.

Perhaps Mary will be there too?

Princess mary & family, will go to Australia this year? Anybody knows?

Hi alexander :)

I haven't seen anything about visiting Australia but I'm sure we will know soon, if they do.

Maybe Mary/they will visit Tasmania in December?

Mary's sister celebrates her 50th birthday and Mary is patron for the 125th Anniversary of the University of Tasmania.

Thank you very much!

I didn't known nothing of that... Happy to news!

Hopefully find something soon!

You're welcome but I don't know if they will go. I was just speculating that they possiby go.

Her sisters big birthday would be a good reason to go "home" after almost 4 years.

Lidingoloppet, the Swedish 30 km run which is the last part of the Swedish Classic circuit takes place on 25th - 27th of September.

Since Crown Prince Frederik successfully completed all the other parts of the Swedish Classic this year we might realistically assume he will attempt the final part. http://www.lidingoloppet.se/

When he was interviewed after 'Vansbrosimningen' (in July), he confirmed that he would run the 30km Lidingöloppet.

There are several distances during that weekend and the 30km is on Saturday, the 26th.
