General news about F&M 2016

Recommended Posts

I do not usually read Her og Νu, or trust anything they write when I do read their articles, but I think this belongs here as it is part of the fallout of the Prince Consort's retirement:

http://herognu.dk/kongelige/frederik-og-mary-hastede-til-fredensborg-krisemode/

Two photos of people sitting in a car...From that H&N deduces, that this was a "crisis meeting" due to

Prince Henri's retirement.

More likely the family driving to granny for breakfast and to show holiday photos from Australia.

Also, Joachim said to the press that the family have known about the retirement decision for some time and have been discussing it together.

So again H&N are manufacturing gossip.

Thanks for bringing it to the board's attention Pammy.

Thanks for the link, looks cold, it is great how Frederik and Mary take the children to school. A little different to last month for them wonder if they miss the sunshine and beach a little.

And again a week ago. This time Frederik with the twins and Ziggy on their way kindergarten.

Article from HerΝ, with a private photo from someone who bumped into them at Amalienborg.

Also a photo of Frederik on a different new bike.

BT beklager omtale af H.K.H. Kronprinsessen

http://kongehuset.dk/nyheder/bt-beklager-omtale-af-hkh-kronprinsessen

"BT regrets mention of HRH The Crown Princess

Dagbladet BT brings today March 8, 2016, the following correction on page two of the BT and the bt.dk:

'BT wrote Wednesday. March 2, 2016 that Crown Princess Mary described Saudi Arabia's response to violence against women as' a great success'. It is not correct. The Crown Princess spoke exclusively about the efforts being made by Khalid Foundation against violence against women. Crown Princess Mary relates in other words not to the Saudi efforts for women's rights in general or the law that is being discussed in the article and which Amnesty International commenting on.

BT regrets. '

Lol, this hasn't gotten the same kind of attention as the original article. Far from it. Actually nada:-) Anyway, it should be said that the online article was a teaser for an article in the paper version and was therefore set up a little harder - Mary vs Amnesty International - than the actually paper version. Still, it was set up as a match between them, with Mary being the looser. So it was probably good idea to try to get a correction.

Not surprising, as the online "correction" was published 9pm yesterday evening... ;)

Yes, exactly. 24 hours and still nothing:-) I saw it yesterday on BTs web page. With no picture or "Mary" in the headline or an entry on their face book page. Just a discreet "BT Corrects" quietly gliding down the Front page:-)

CP Frederik and Prince Joachim yesterday in South Jylland, attending the funeral of Bitten Clausen, 103 years of age.

She was the widow of the founder of the Danish company 'Grundfoss'. She was a close friend of Queen Ingrid and the DRF.
