gudinde
Here's an interesting article from DR about the broader benefits of a State Visit. http://www.dr.dk/nyheder/indland/dansk-industri-et-statsbesoeg-har-stor-vaerdi-danmark "Danish Industry: A State Visit is of great value for Denmark" My own summary [g]: DR spoke to Danish Industry marketing manager, Jens Holst-Nielsen, who made some relevant points. - The Mexican State Visit is much more than gala dresses and photo opportunities. It is of great importance for Danish companies. - It is not only the President and his wife who come to visit, but also a delegation with several government ministers and representatives of 20 Mexican companies. - A State Visit like this raises awareness and visibility for Denmark. Denmark is a small country, but here we have the opportunity to inspire with Danish social models, new contacts and provide insight into Danish technological solutions. - Mexico has a population of over 120 million, and it is a market with great potential. As the most rapidly growing economy in South America, with growth close to three percent per year, it is a very interesting market for Danish companies to enter. At today's business conference with the Confederation of Danish Industries, there will be presentations and round tables, where Danish companies present their visions and products to the Mexican delegation. It is also attended by several Mexican Ministers and the Danish Energy-Supply and Climate Minister, Lars Chr. Lilleholt (V) participates. Jens Holst-Nielsen had this to say: - It has a very great value that the Crown Prince and the President come here. The Crown Prince's participation is a public recognition of the Danish firms. - This is where the seeds of future possible agreements between the two countries should be sown. - The effects of the State Visit will not be readable in the statistics here and now. It is about creating long-term relationships and reinforcing the relationships that are in place. Eventually, Danish companies will undoubtedly be stronger in a strong country such as Mexico. In 2008, the Queen and Prince Henrik made a State Visit to Mexico. 32 Danish companies participated in the visit. Then in 2013, when the Crown Princely Couple led a business delegation to Mexico, the number of Danish companies had grown to 51. - The two visits with the Royals at the head has undoubtedly affected Danish exports to Mexico. The fine match between the Danish solutions and the needs of Mexico as a growth economy is crucial. Danish exports to the country grew faster than in the countries known as EU15, (that is, the 15 original EU member states). - Denmark's exports to Mexico have quadrupled, whereas they just over doubled in the other EU15 countries, says the DI-market manager. These export areas are of maximum relevance to the Mexican market: Energy technology Healthcare Solutions Equipment and ingredients for food production

gudinde
Any video on YouTube from the visit to Kokkedal? Curious to learn how CPM presents "Fri for Mobberi" and what misses Rivera thinks of the concept Hi Poul. No luck so far. There may be something on the evening news tonight. I am also wondering what was presented today. If I remember correctly, the program has educational material developed to be age-appropriate through several stages of childhood and young adulthood. Depending how curious you are, the Mary Foundation may be able to help.
