O_o Yesterday, I was searching for news about what Frederik might be up to and where, with Joachim being rigsforstander.

Visiting troops in Mali was my first choice and I actually searched for possible news, but couldn't find anything.

And now this is released....

The articles don't mention how long they have been there but Frederik is regent today, so he must be back by now.

Likewise, the Crown Prince had opportunity to meet with the National Support Element, which provides logistics for the deployed.

Finally  the Crown Prince got the opportunity to meet the Danish staff personnel, as part of a Dutch-led intelligence unit in Bamako.

On the second day the Crown Prince paid a visit to the Danish Special Forces stationed in Gao, more than 1000 km from the capital.
During the two day visit the Crown Prince also had an opportunity to meet the Danish police, which is inserted in both Bamako and Gao."
