PROGRAMME Tuesday, 27 September Washington The Crown Prince Couple’s programme Reception 19.00 The Crown Prince Couple participate in a reception for the business delegation and specially invited representatives from the arts, cultural and diplomatic worlds in Washington D.C. Denmark’s ambassador in Washington is the host. During the reception, a new exhibition "Arts in Embassy" also opens in the ambassador’s residence with modern Danish art, which is sponsored by the embassy, the Danish Arts Foundation and the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition is sponsored by Maersk and is a part of the museum’s permanent collection about the nation’s maritime history. In connection with the exhibition, the Crown Prince Couple also take part in a networking breakfast. Visit at Veterans Affairs Medical Centre 09.30 The Crown Prince Couple and the business delegation visit the Veterans Affairs Medical Centre. During the visit, the Crown Prince Couple will be shown around the Inpatient Ward and Women’s Health Clinic. The Veterans Health Administration is the largest integrated health systems in the USA and treats nearly 9 million veterans each year. The branch in Washington treats more than 98,000 veterans annually. Boston Company visit at Guldmann Inc. 14.15 The Crown Prince Couple visit Guldmann Inc., which is the American division of the Danish company Guldmann a/s.
