The Crown Princess takes part in and speaks at an International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) session at the “Concordia Annual Summit”. The theme of the session is “Empowerment of Women”. ICRW is a leading organization in the area of gender and equality. The Crown Princess is a part of the ICRW’s Leadership Council.

UN Population Fund’s arrangement “Protecting the Health and Rights of Women and Girls Affected by Conflict”

The Crown Princess participates in and speaks at the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) arrangement “Protecting the Health and Rights of Women and Girls Affected by Conflict” with special focus on women from South Sudan and Yemen. The Crown Princess is patron of the UN Population Fund, which is an international development organization that works to promote the rights women, men and children have to health and equal status.

The Crown Princess takes part in the networking arrangement “Denmark: It’s more than a small country – It’s a BIG idea” along with Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Danish companies and others. The goal of the arrangement is to support the efforts by Danish companies to export to the USA and their involvement in the UN’s global goals for sustainable development.
