H. K. H. The Crown Prince visits the Red Cross
The Red Cross was visited by H.K.H. on Tuesday, November 5. Crown Prince Frederik. Secretary-General Anders Ladekarl and President Sven Bak welcomed him.
In his capacity as patron of the Red Cross, the Crown Prince came to work. During the afternoon he was shown around the main office on Blegdamsvej. He was given various speeches by the Secretary-General and the President.
Among other things, the Crown Prince visited the exhibition Red Cross Experience and got a guided tour.
Whether the world's conflicts are on fire or the poor in Denmark have problems, the Red Cross is always there and helps. The Crown Prince also heard about the activities of the Red Cross in the world's hotspots. He also heard speeches about how the Red Cross works to help the vulnerable in Denmark.
Along the way, he questioned interest in everything from how volunteer architects help abused women in their own homes to what Boblberg is for.

"The Crown Prince arrived with a twinkle in his eye, solid handshakes, Red Cross needle on his jacket and no tie.
Between you and me, that meant that throughout the Red Cross lots of ties were quickly taken off 😂

The visit was a work visit, so the Crown Prince as patron has the best insight into what we work with all over the world.
After an initial coffee talk with cookies, the Crown Prince spoke with two posted emergency workers via Skype.

The two-hour visit ended in the basement. It may sound a little gloomy, but it certainly wasn't.
In the basement of the Red Cross there is an interactive exhibition that, through various experience zones, gives the visitor insight into what it is like to be a child in an exposed

family to what it is like to be in prison."
