19. October 2020 - Crown Prince Frederik visits startups participating in Danish Tech Challenge 2020

"The four-month growth process Danish Tech Challenge is in full swing in the research park Scion DTU, where 20 hardware startups are testing their businesses at the same time as they get help to develop. To continuously follow the process closely, His Royal Highness today visited a number of the participating companies, which are part of Denmark's largest acceleration programme.

Danish Tech Challenge focuses on business and product development. This year is the seventh edition, and the participating companies are working, among other things, to find investors and secure patents as well as the development of marketing strategies for their new products and solutions. In addition, the course is also a competition where the final winner receives the Danish Industry Foundation's Entrepreneurship Award and a prize of 500,000 kroner."

From a couple of posts on instagram, a poster writes about a lunch or dinner at Amalienborg yesterday.

"#lunch at the palace #navylife #amalienborg #queen #crownprince #dannebrog #royalyacht " etc

" Yesterday’s dinner at the Queens, Amalienborg was 10/10"

Pure speculation on my part, but this could perhaps have something to with the dinner for officers of Dannebrog that takes place

every autumn at the end of sailing season. Not that there was a sailing season this year, but the Queen might have hosted the dinner anyway.

Interesting mls. It sounds like it could be that. And again a event we hear nothing from.

_______

Another unofficial event, which is not written in the calendar either.

Yesterday a meeting with young people in the Mary Foundation:

Yesterday, in the Mary Foundation, we had a visit from our youth panel to talk about the well-being of young people during the corona. And not least about ideas and recommendations for solutions.

It was an inspiring and intense conversation about how corona and the restrictions that have come with it have had a huge impact on young people's lives. I was particularly touched by the young people's consideration and compassion for some of the groups who are having the most difficulty and who feel most lonely at this time. And I was very uplifted by their many ideas for what we can do - both to fight loneliness and create well-being among young people in the time to come.

Perhaps a lunch in these covid-times, instead of the dinner?!

Could be something else too. But it does seem to have something to do with Dannebrog.

P4G – Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 –  is a new initiative, commenced in 2018, with the ambition of becoming the world’s leading forum for developing concrete public-private partnerships at scale to deliver on the SDGs and the Paris Climate Agreement. We bring together business, government, and civil society organizations in innovative public-private partnerships to advance solutions that help meet humanity’s greatest needs in five key areas: food and agriculture, water, energy, cities and circular economy.

The inaugural P4G Summit was in Copenhagen 2018. QM hosted a dinner and the CPC attended an event with an award ceremony.

Denmark is one of 12 partners in P4G.

"Earlier today, the P4G Partnership Awards 2020 were handed out during a virtual event in which thousands took part from around the world.

During the event, His Royal Highness The Crown Prince gave the opening speech and, among other things, said: “They are role models for the many more partnerships we need in the transition to a green economy.”

Based on more than 70 recommendations received, six Partnership Awards in all were handed out this year: The award for the best partnership in each of the five categories P4G works in (water, energy, agriculture and food products, cities and circular economy) as well as the overall best partnership. Among the winners was FINISH Mondial, which provides sanitary conditions for more than five million people.

Denmark is the initiator of P4G, which was launched in 2017 at the UN’s General Assembly, and the first P4G summit was held in Copenhagen in October 2018. "

A great surprise they gave us a photo and video. Yet they cant include it on the calendar 😉

I'm soon tempted to write to the Royal House's communications department and ask if there's any good reason? 😂

Maybe they will add it tommorrow. We have seen in with others of the CP-couple unofficial events.

"Denmark's most prestigious sports award, Sports Name of the Year, which DIF and Team Denmark are behind, will be awarded for the 30th time on ‘SPORT 2020’ on 2 January. Therefore, the award's judging committee has gathered and assessed who should be in the line of great sports personalities who have been named Sports Name of the Year. The list includes Caroline Wozniacki, Viktor Axelsen and both the women's and men's national handball teams - just to name a few.

The judging committee consists of H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik, Minister of Culture Joy Mogensen, Hall of Fame members Camilla Martin and Michael Laudrup as well as representatives from DIF and Team Denmark."
