Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda, Princess of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat, was born on 8 January 2011 at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) about half an hour after her twin brother.
Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are the younger son and daughter of Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Prince and Crown Princess.
They were christened in Holmen's Church on Thursday 14 April 2011. The Twins are included in the order of succession to the Danish Throne, in birth order, after their older siblings.
