HRH The Crown Princess at Harvard University
29 March - 8 April 2016
'Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century'
In her capacity as a Young Global Leader, HRH the Crown Princess has completed the course 'Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century' at Harvard in Boston.
The course 'Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century' is part of the Harvard Kennedy School and developed in collaboration with the World Economic Forum. The course is targeted for members of the community Young Global Leaders.
The Crown Princess was in 2012 named as a Young Global Leader and thus joined in a global community of prominent young leaders. The appointment as Young Global Leader was based on the Crown Princess' work in the social field, including the establishment of the Mary Foundation.
Since 2004, The Young Global Forum designated the world's most prominent young leaders in order to create a unique network of people who can contribute to solving some of the world's humanitarian challenges. The Forum of Young Global Leaders is administered by the World Economic Forum, which among other things is famous for the annual meetings in Davos, Switzerland, where world leaders discuss the world's challenges, such as social challenges, diversity, tolerance and inclusion.
