This year it is 100 years since physiologist August Krogh received the Nobel Prize for his pioneering research in capillary physiology.
This is celebrated with a symposium at the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences under the title "August Krogh symposium - sports, muscles and health".
H.R.H. The Crown Prince will attend the symposium, which offers a number of scientific presentations on the latest research in this area.
