Årets Reumert blev indstiftet og uddelt første gang i 1998 af Bikubenfonden. Med Årets Reumert-priser ønsker man at sætte fokus på den levende scenekunst.

The Annual Reumert was instituted and first awarded in 1998 by Bikubenfonden. The aim of the Annual Reumert Awards is to put a focus on the live performing arts.
