Statministeren og ministre forelægger lov- og beslutningsforslag samt de af Folketinget vedtagne lovforslag til stadfæstelse af H.M. Dronningen.
Ministrene i forening udgør statsrådet, hvori tronfølgeren, når han er myndig, tager sæde. Monarken fører forsæde. Statsråd afholdes efter behov og som regel onsdag formiddag.
Regeringens lov- og beslutningsforslag skal inden fremsættelsen i Folketinget forelægges for Dronningen.

State Council at Christiansborg Palace.
The Prime Minister and ministers submit bills and resolutions as well as those bills adopted by parliament for the ratification of H. M. The Queen.
Ministers form the Council of State, on which the Heir to the Throne also has a seat. The monarch leads the chairmanship. State Council is held as needed and usually on a Wednesday morning.
Government bills and resolutions must, before submission in parliament be presented to the Queen.
