There should be some lovely balcony photos today.

The Queen in the central balcony, with Frederik and family at the balcony on the left and Joachim and family on the right side balcony.

The balconies of the neighboring palace had the Queen's sisters and brother-in-law (king Constantine) in the cantral balcony, with the Swedish royals (king queen and crown princely coupe) on the left balcony, and the Norwegian king with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit on the right balcony.

At the next appearance the Queen, sons, daughters-in-law and all the grandchildren all appeared together on the central balcony.

First, thanks for all the links to photos! This event started way too early for me.

I am a bit confused by the guests at this event. How come King and Queen of Sweden were present, but Kings and Queens of Spain and Netherlands were not there?

I saw Princess Benedikte, but not Queen Anne-Marie and King Constantine. I also did not see any of Princess Benedikte's children and Queen Anne-Marie's children.

Do you think this means that non of QMII's nephews and nieces will be at the dinner tonight? I was hoping to see lots of tiaras tonight.

Hi ayvee. Let's see ...

The king and queen of Spain had left Denmark before the morning song event.

The other visiting royals from last night's dinner stayed for the morning greeting at the queen's window.

The official reception from the City of Copenhagen included the Queen's sisters & brother-in-law and also the other Scandinavian royals (and CP couples).

King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie were seated beside Crown Princess Mette-Marit,

while Princess Benedikte was seated as part of the Danish Royal House, in the centre of the room.

I think we can still hold out hope that the Queen's nieces and nephews may be present tonight, ayvee.

Thanks, gudinde. I did not realize Queen Anne-Marie and King Constantine were there too. I will look through photos again and see if I can spot them.

I'm surprised that the King and Queen of Spain didn't stay for another night, but perhaps they have things to attend to in Spain.

I will keep my fingers crossed about the Queen's nieces and nephews!
