In the calendar entry under "Presseinformation" it says "There will be no press access", so we shouldn't expect any pictures. Well, unless she is photographed arriving outside the foundation, there isn't much female royal material for next weeks magazine:-)
mls
HRH The Crown Princess participated as patron in a briefing with the Mental Health Foundation. The Crown Princess has been patron of the organization since 2004. http://kongehuset.dk...iatrifonden.img During the meeting with President Anne Lindhardt, Director Marianne Skjold Larsen and Communications Manager Niels Adler became Crown Princess informed of Mental Health Fund developments and key projects. http://kongehuset.dk...trifonden-2.img The Crown Princess also had the opportunity to greet children in Mental Health Fund children groups for children with mentally ill parents. http://kongehuset.dk...trifonden-3.img Article with the same photos: http://www.psykiatri...0&Cache=Default http://www.psykiatri...esoeg-2015.aspx I'm so glad we were wrong about photos! ap3
really like the outfit with the coat on; less so with it off (i'm not a big fan of turtlenecks). so glad to see her involvement with this cause. mental illness gets so little attention (until there is a tragedy). gudinde
Oh, that's a nice surprise - annotated coverage from kongehuset Thanks for posting, mls. I agree with you ap3.
ap3
am i right that these kinds of meetings do not normally get covered by kongehuset? i wonder if it is getting covered in response to the recent articles about how few engagements the danish royal family do (with comparisons to other royal families)? since it looks like most of the disparities come from how engagements are counted, and lack of information (and pics!) from the family's website, maybe some members thought it was time to show some of the little heralded work they do? Leonie
Disparity is a good word to use. We don't see their private calendars. The court once stated they only listed events with a public interest. Meaning only the events where there was a public and press presence. We don't always get information on events that go on behind the palace walls. I sometimes think we don't know the half of what they actually do.
