January 2022 "At Koldinghus, preparations are currently in full swing for the special exhibition "Mary & the Crown Princesses", which opens on 31 January. Today, Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess made her way past the museum to follow the creation of the exhibition up close. The exhibition was created on the occasion of the Crown Princess '50th birthday on 5 February 2022 and paints a portrait of the Danish Crown Princess and Her Royal Highness' four female predecessors in the Glücksborg line. From the opening of the exhibition until 30 December 2022, visitors will be able to experience a number of the Crown Princess 'objects in a universe with both graphics, projections and mood-creating scenographies, where Her Royal Highness' own photographs are also exhibited together with effects by Louise of Hessen-Kassel , Lovisa of Sweden-Norway, Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Ingrid of Sweden's life. During the day's visit, the Crown Princess was guided around the old royal palace by the museum director of the Royal Collection, Thomas C. Thulstrup, and along the way, Her Royal Highness met a group of volunteers who work with sewing curtains for the exhibition using the same techniques as in the 1800s and 1900s. century."
