Paulamary
"This beautiful necklace has returned to the exhibition "A queen's jewelry box" at the Amalienborg Museum. The jewellery was taken home for private use, as H.M. the Queen wore it on Easter Day, when the Queen was in Aarhus Cathedral for Easter high mass. The necklace with Easter eggs made of gold, silver, enamel, amber, mountain crystal, diamonds and pearls, is attributed to the jeweler company Fabergé, but it is not known for sure. One of the pendants can be opened and here the Queen has put a small picture of Kronprins Frederik. "A Queen's Jewelry Box" presents over 200 of the Queen's private jewelry. The queen actively uses her jewelry collection, so guests at the exhibition will therefore sometimes experience that some of the jewelry has been taken home for private use."
