As a prelude to this year's race, I took part yesterday together with Olympic silver winner Sara Slott and comedian Heino Hansen in recordings for training videos, which will be released at the end of February. It was a great success despite our different levels and experience with exercise running. H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary begins her day by lacing up her running shoes for the Royal Run in Nyborg, after which she goes to Falster's largest city, Nykøbing Falster, and runs with the many participants there. More than 88,000 have already signed up, and according to tradition, everyone is looking forward to receiving a special medal when they cross the finish line. Again this year it is a sustainable medal🏅 This year's Royal Run medal is made from recycled acrylic plates and the medal band is made from PET material made from used water and soda bottles that have been melted and made of textile fibres. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess's participation in the Royal Run on 29 May👇 The Crown Prince arrives in Aabenraa with the Royal Ship Dannebrog at 10:15 and starts the race at 10:45. He himself participates in the One mile distance. After the trip in Aabenraa, he continues to Herning, where he arrives at 13:15 and participate in the 5 km distance, which is sent off at 1:45 p.m. The tour then continues towards the Royal Run in Copenhagen/Frederiksberg, where the Crown Prince will run 10 km. He shoots the fastest 10 km runners off at 18:55 and runs himself in the heat immediately afterwards. The Crown Princess begins her day in Nyborg, where she arrives at 11:15. She will participate in the One Mile distance herself and will start the race approx. at 11:35.
