This afternoon, Her Majesty the Queen hosted the song on the theme 'Denmark'. "The Danish song treasure is a crown jewel in our cultural heritage. There is something extraordinarily lovely about singing together because we feel connected to each other when we do it. Whether it's at school, at church, at a party or at a marathon like today. I was therefore very much looking forward to singing with you here in Vartov," said Her Majesty, among other things. The queen had chosen the songs "Der er et yndigt land", "Wonderlige aftenlufte", "Kærlighed til fedrelandet", "Bright nights" and "I was born in Denmark". Vartovkollegiet is an old college in the center of Copenhagen. Vartov dates back to 1724 and is known as the place where N.F.S. Grundtvig was priest from 1838 to 1872.
