Arrival in Nuuk 

10:00 am

The Regent Couple arrives on the Royal Yacht Dannebrog at the Colony Harbor in the capital Nuuk, where Their Majesties are received by Mayor Avaraaq Olsen.

 

Official reception at the Town Hall in Nuuk

10:30 am

The Regent Couple participates in the official reception in the city council chamber at the City Hall in Nuuk by mayor Avaaraq Olsen, the municipal council and the executive board.

 

Tour of Nuuk's new school

11:45 am

The Regent Couple takes part in a tour of Nuuk's new school Atuarfik Inussuk.

 

Lunch with Naalakkersuisut and the presidency of Inatsisartut

12:30 pm

The Regent Couple attends lunch at Hans Egede's House hosted by Naalakkersuisut and the Presidency of Inatsisartut.

 

Visit to Nuuk new airport

2:50 pm

The Regent Couple participates in a visit and tour of Nuuk's new airport, where there will be a presentation from the municipality on the new capital strategy.

 

Visit to workshop

3:45 pm

The Regent Couple visits a workshop in Nuuk, where work is being done on a memorial stone for the polar explorer Arnarulunnguaq. As the only female polar explorer, she took part in the famous 5th Thule expedition in the period from 1921 to 1924.

 

Naalakkersuisut's official dinner

6:30 pm

The Regent Couple attends Naalakkersuisut's official dinner at Kulturhuset Katuaq in Nuuk.

Loved seeing Vincent marching his dad wearing the anorak (I believe that is the correct name)  Mary looks great.  Nice seeing the national dress again.  Josephine looks lovely.
