It's not as if he hasn't known this for the past 50 years! Perhaps he really wants her to abdicate as have other European monarchs and just join him in France? Very very sad. He is responding to the question "Some say that you are making a laughing stock of the Queen and making her look like a fool and exposing her?" While it doesn't totally excuse him, I think it's manipulative of the media to leave out this question/context. They make look like it's something he just bursts out on his own. He was kind of trapped/provoked into the reaction. The question probably made him a little upset and that added to his reaction. That he isn't the best communicator in Danish probably didn't make it better for him. In true form Henrik of course offered the journalists a glass of wine. The tabloid provided subtitles to his speech because he is not speaking clearly. His status has been a sore point for many years. But, these last outbursts sound completely unfiltered. If he is in mental decline it is nothing for the tabloids to exploit. The court, family and his doctors had better get ahead of it, if that is the problem.
