  2. Thanks all for photo and video links. :@: I think it was excellent PR that Frederik, Mary , Christian and Isabella were not present at the balcony. Or else they were be centre of focus from media and photographers. It is good that space was given for Marie, the future bride of Joachim and his children Nicholai and Felix. As for Frederik away for the sailing competiton should not be an issue as he is a sportsman and the World Junior Sailing competition is held later this year in Denmark and he is the Royal Patron. That would generate quite a bit of revenue for Denmark as more than 200 sailing boats are coming in from all over the world. As gudinde has pointed HRH was not present a few times during the Queen's birthday. The queen would have given her approval of their absence. Even though I miss them at the balcony, I hope Mary and the children have a wonderful holiday there with Frederik. Looking forward for some good photos during Isabella's first birthday next week- making it all more precious.
  3. Thanks Benedikte. So Mary and the children are with Frederik.
  4. Thank you gudinde for your hard work. And also a big thank you to FrederikIX for all the links. :@: :@: The new banner is lovely with the past and the present -very appropriate for this important event today. Hopefully we have a live video link and some good photos. :@: And a very Happy 68th Birthday to HM Queen Margrethe II!!! :birthday: TV 2 dk BT

  10. I agreed with you Oxfordgrrl. What attracted me was just the plain "The Mary Foundation" without the tittle. Very cool indeed and very relevent and useful as a linking tool to all her patronages. It is good that she has her own foundation as CP Frederik has two on his own dealing with different aspect. 11. Thanks santa for the info. Looking forward to the events. I wonder we get to see the Fred and Mary in Ireland in August. BTW 1st July is Lilleprinsesse's christening so the departure of the Sea Stallion from Roskilde , Denmark is 2nd July if I am not mistaken.
  12. The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship There are two. The first one is a wedding gift from the University of Copenhagen to the Tasmanian-born Princess Mary, when she married Prince Frederik. Established in 2004 and commencing 2005. The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship is established for a five-year period and is to be awarded to students from the University of Copenhagen’s Australian partner institutions. Two scholarships of DKK 10,000 (app. A$2,200) will be available each calendar year commencing in 2005. Eligibility Available to current undergraduate students who are studying in: Humanities, Social Science, Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Earth Science, Plant Science and Zoology) or Economics (applicants should refer to the list of available courses taught in English at the University of Copenhagen below). Applicants should demonstrate a particular interest in studying at the University of Copenhagen. Amount The University of Copenhagen will provide DKK 10,000 (approx A$2,200) towards living expenses. In addition, if one of the successful applicants is from the University of Tasmania, UTAS will provide a further $3,000 towards expenses including airfare.
