Visit in South AfricaHRH The Crown Prince attends the opening competition in Denmark's pool, Denmark vs Netherlands in Johannesburg on 14th of June and will open the health project "Smart Living - Teenage Diabetes Awareness through Sport and Healthy Nutrition" on 15th June in a township in Daveyton, located on the outskirts of Johannesburg. Diabetes is a growing problem in South Africa, and affects both rich and poor. The project in Daveyton highlights how, through sport and a healthier lifestyle the disease can be controlled or prevented. The project is funded by the Royal Danish Embassy in Pretoria and the World Diabetes Foundation and implemented by the Non Government Organization Daveyton Environmental Youth Counsel and the South African Diabetes Association.
