Crown Prince Frederik has cancelled the scheduled royal hunt in Valby Hegn, which was supposed to take place on Friday 5 December 2008.
The cancellation has been made in respect of the two Danish soldiers killed in action in Afghanistan on Thursday. The Crown Prince has just returned to Denmark after having visited the Danish troops in Helmand province together with Defense Minister Søren Gade.
"My thoughts and my deepest sympathy goes to the families. Naturally, I am thinking also of the Danish soldiers, who are now serving in difficult conditions", said the Crown Prince.
