HRH The Crown Prince takes part in New Year's Court at Christiansborg Palace for the officers from the Defence and Emergency Management, Ist, IInd and IIIrd rank classes and invited representatives of major national organizations and patronages.

Crown Princess Mary was originally included in the court's announcement for all events of the New Year's Court, but is, of course on maternity leave. BB reports that the Crown Princess has sent her apologies in advance.
