Executive Director of the newly established UN agency 'UN Women', Michelle Bachelet is visiting Denmark. UN Women's objectives include the following priorities: strengthening the role of women, leadership and participation, and combating violence against women, and women's rights globally, including the strengthening of economic conditions.
There is overlap with the work of Crown Princess Mary's Foundation as well as several areas of her patronage work, including
