The Danish Cancer Society celebrated World Cancer Day with gala performances at the Royal Theatre Playhouse in Copenhagen. Here the Danish Cancer Society awarded its first honorary prize to a Doctor from Odense for having introduced an advanced surgery for women with ovarian cancer that has saved lives, and for his humanity and his dedication to patients. It's the first time the Danish Cancer Society marks the World Cancer Day. Mary wasn't present, but sent a video message in that connection.
