Umiddelbart før Nytårstaflet modtager Regentparret regeringen og særligt indbudte i kur.
Kronprinsparret samt D.K.H. Prins Joachim og Prinsesse Marie er til stede.

The Regent Couple holds New Year's reception and banquet for the government, representatives of official Denmark and the court in Christian VII's Palace, Amalienborg.
Immediately before the New Year's banquet the Regent Couple receives the government and special guests at Court.
T.R.H. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess and T.R.H. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie will be present.
