Crown Prince Frederik has agreed to become patron of the European golf tournament 'Made in Denmark', which will be held from 14th - 17th of August.

Made in Denmark is part of the international European Tour tournament for the second time visiting Denmark.

Nine Danish European Tour players participate in Made in Denmark including Thomas Bjorn, Thorbjorn Olesen and Soren Hansen. Participants will play for a total prize pool of 11 million kroner with 2 million kroner to the winner of the Made in Denmark.

The Crown Prince will also participate in a practice round of the Pro-Am tournament Wednesday, August 13.
