Kronprinsessen besøger den 23.-25. oktober Tajikistan i sin egenskab af protektor for WHO Regional Office for Europe.

The Crown Princess, in her capacity as patron of the World Health Organisation Regional Office for Europe, visits Tajikistan in the period 23rd-25th October.
The visit includes a focus on the health of mothers and children as well as increased efforts to provide vaccines to people in the WHO European Region. During the visit, the Crown Princess among other things has an opportunity to meet health workers and visits a pediatric ward in the capital Dushanbe and a hospital in the area Varzob where a vaccine day will be launched. The Crown Princess will also be present at the forum concerning health at Tajik State Medical University.
WHO has been present in Tajikistan since 1992 to assist in the promotion of the country's health. The Crown Princess was appointed patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe in 2005.
