Royal Foundations support Syria-collection

The Regent Couple and Crown Prince Couple's funds have collectively supported the DR and TV 2's joint emergency collection

for Syrian refugees "Help Now" with 400,000 kr.

The board of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik Foundation has chosen to support the emergency collection for Syrian refugees with 200,000 kr. The Crown Prince Couple's foundation also donates 200 000 kr. to the Syria-collection.

The funds go to 12 different aid organizations: Danish Refugee Council, UNICEF Denmark, the Red Cross, DanChurchAid, ADRA Denmark, Save the Children, Doctors Without Borders, MS, SOS Children's Village, Caritas Denmark, Mission East and Danish People's Aid.

During the collection show is a feature of HRH the Crown Prince in Nepal, where the Crown Prince has been on a working trip with Danish Red Cross since September 17. In Nepal, the Crown Prince visited earthquake-affected localities and met families who are trying to restore their lives after disasters.
