HRH The Crown Princess attends as patron of DRC Danish Refugee Council the virtual high-level panel debate 'Youth in Displacement Sustainable Futures Beyond COVID-19'.
The virtual event marks the first anniversary of the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) and the second anniversary of the Global Compact on Refugees.
In 2019, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) hosted the Global Refugee Forum for the first time.Here, among others, government representatives, business leaders and civil society from all over the world gathered to find solutions to the global refugee situation.The Global Refugee Forum aimed, among other things, to follow up on the Global Compact on Refugees, which was adopted in December 2018 by the UN General Assembly.
