At 11:00 Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen visited Queen Margrethe to inform her of the election results and to convey his intention to stay in office without a "queen round" (where the Queen and the Party Leaders enter into consultation) as he still has has the backing of a majority in the new parliament.
