QMII and PH will be present at the inauguration of the exhibition "When Versailles was furnished in Silver" at Versailles, France, nov 19 2007, together with the French Minister of Culture, ms. Christine Albanel.
70 items from the Court of the Danish Royals will be part of the exhibition. Among those are the three silver lions and the silver throne chair of Queen Sofia Magdalene at King Chr. IV's crowning.
At the same time the silver collection chambers of Rosenborg will go through a extensive restauration, and will open again in 2008.
