HRH The Crown Princess visits Rådmandsgades School at Nørrebro
Rådmandsgades School is located in part of Nørrebro, Copenhagen, which is comprised mostly of people from ethnically diverse backgrounds. The school is situated near the public housing sector Mjølnerparken, which is considered a “ghetto.”
Rådmandsgades School has a very good reputation in addressing the challenges of multiculturalism.
The Integration Prize 2007 was awarded to this school in the schools and education category.
The purpose of this visit is to make a donation to the school on behalf of Princess Isabella. One of Princess Isabella's christening gifts was a donation of 10,000 Danish Kroner - to be given to Rådmandsgades School.
