The Crown Prince Couple take part, as guests of honour, in an Australian evening at Sølyst at the 'Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society and Danish Brotherhood'
'Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society and Danish Company' is a guild established in 1336.
Since the monarchs Frederik I (born 1471) and his son Christian III (born 1503) were elected as members, every Danish monarch with the exception of one has been a member of The Society.
The historic Sølyst estate has been the society's home since 1948. It is the setting for the society's festive occasions, social gatherings and ceremonial shooting contests.
