Tuesday 21 September 2010 Minister of Finance Claus Hjort Frederiksen, on behalf of the State, hands over the newly renovated Frederik VIII's palace to the Crown Princely Couple. The transfer takes place within Frederik VIII's palace at 2:00pm in the presence of invited guests.
The palace has been substantially repaired in the last five years and is now ready to be used. Henceforth, the palace will serve as home for the Crown Princely Couple and their children. The palace also consists of representative premises and administration rooms for the Crown Princely Couple's Court.
