The last three dinners were in 2000, 2003 (in connection with the engagement of CPF and Mary Donaldson) and in 2009.

    It's unusual that there is no mention of the arrival, greeting and inspecting of the guard at the airport, with the entire royal family present. I wonder if there is a deviation from the usual format, or if it is just not mentioned on the published schedule?

There are likely to be grand celebrations in May, according to press reports. The British and Commonwealth's Queen Elizabeth celebrates her 65 years on the throne on 6th of February. She now holds the position of longest serving ruling monarch. April: On 21st of April Princess Isabella has her first "round" birthday, reaching 10 years. On 27th of April King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands turns 50, with a grand inter-royal celebration expected. May: Expected birthday celebrations in Norway. June: 10th of June is the 50th anniversary of the wedding of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik. It will be celebrated privately. In the Summer Prince Nikolai graduates from high school. July: 14th of July Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden turns 40. August: 28th of August Prince Nikolai turns 18. August also brings the 20th anniversary of the death of Princess Diana. September: 11 September is the Mary Foundation's 10th anniversary. November: 20 September Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip will have been married for 70 years.

    17 January 2017, 2:00 pm HRH The Crown Princess visits the research project Copenhagen Baby Heart at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital). Blegdamsvej 9, Copenhagen. Copenhagen Baby Heart is a 2-year screening project where all parents who give birth in Copenhagen, are offered an ultrasound scan of their newborn baby's heart. The purpose of the research project is to investigate the benefits of such scans to detect and possibly treat congenital heart defects as well as to gather knowledge about child development.
