This morning, as the sun shone over a fresh, crisp, Autumn day, we had the esteemed honour and pleasure of welcoming HKH Crown Princess Mary to our Dalgas campus, as we celebrated our Ground Breaking Ceremony ahead of the new building project. The students were so excited to see the Danish Princess, and welcomed her with smiles and waving flags that they had made themselves. A student from our EY department and our MYP department were there ready with flowers to greet her, and our head of the student council along with other students accompanied HKH Crown Princess Mary in literally breaking the ground where our new school building will be built. According to the local police, the crown princess arrived in Aarhus with the popular seaplane, which quickly and efficiently transports passengers from the port in Copenhagen to the water outside the Jutland metropolis.
