Isn't the purpose of these trips to bring attention to DK? Isn't that why they send Mary too? For press coverage. What's the point of sending her if the press won't cover it. Where's the ROI? The DRF communications department should have people that will travel with them on trips and to engagements to document the visit in real time with photos and video. If you want to see how proper coverage is done of a visit to Milan Design Week, check out the Netherlands thread. Queen Maxima is there today and their social media has provided more coverage in a few hours than the DRF did all day for Mary's events. They've posted photos and videos. Oh and the Dutch Ambassador to Italy has already made 3 Twitter posts about Queen Maxima being at Milan Design Week. One thing surely is not like the other.
