August 2023. H.R.H. The Crown Prince becomes the patron of the World Championships in badminton. It is the fifth time in history that the Badminton World Cup is played in Denmark. In 2014, the best badminton players in the world competed for the WC gold in Ballerup Super Arena, where the Crown Prince was also patron of the tournament. Badminton Denmark is holding the Badminton WC 2023 in collaboration with the Municipality of Copenhagen, Sport Event Denmark and Wonderful Copenhagen.
