His Majesty the King visited today the 5500 square meter innovation house in Lyngby, which every year supports more than 300 startup projects, which include both research and innovation-based teams. In connection with the visit, the King received an introduction to DTU's work on innovation and entrepreneurship, after which His Majesty had the opportunity to meet a number of students and researchers who use the facilities in DTU Skylab. Paulamary Posted March 13 Report Share Posted March 13 Danmarks Tekniske Universitet - DTU During the visit, The King met, among others, 3 student startups: 🌱 Tinyfarms, which makes indoor mini-greenhouses where school students can get 'hands-on' experience with sustainability, nutrients and technology. 🌾 NitroVolt, which produces sustainable ammonia for fertilizer in agriculture. 🔋 Gridlinx, which stores green energy from electric cars and uses electricity as an alternative energy source in the home. A total of 81 new startups were founded at DTU last year. DTU has one of the best-developed ecosystems for innovation and entrepreneurship among European technical universities.
